KC Multi-Ring series ACS steel backing flanges are for use with non-metallic metric piping (PVDF, polypropylene, etc.) IR Butt-Weld and Socket Fusion Type Flange Adapter. Bolt holes are drilled in accordance with ANSI B16.5 class 150 pattern. (Requires the use of hardened SAE washers)
These plastic cloth safety shields are manufactured from single and multilayered clear cloth for easy visibility or a colored cloth with a leak indicating patch. Weep holes located behind the sensitive pH indicating patch allow the indicator to immediately signal a leak and change color to red in the presence of an acid or green if an alkali. The pH patch is also replaceable which allows reuse of the shield. APS safety shields are UV stabilized and resistant to sun, rain and fumes and may be used indoors or outdoors. Our cloth shields are quickly and easily installed by one person without any tools by means of a hook and loop fastener and drawstrings.

KC Multi-Ring® UltraPure gaskets are available in full face "universal" and ring styles. Since the universal gasket can be used with both socket fusion and butt-weld flange adapters, you only have to manage one inventory. The ring style design is available for either socket fusion or butt-weld flange adapters. UltraPure gaskets are available in expanded PTFE and elastomeric materials. They are chemically resistant to all media in range of pH 0-14 with the exception of molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine (particularly at elevated temperatures.) Their stability is not subject to aging and may be stored indefinitely. UltraPure gaskets are factory cleaned and shipped in individually sealed bags for cleanliness until installation.
